Reefer cargo vessel

Onboard the Reefer cargo vessel White Sun, owner experienced major problems getting spares and service for the original installed refrigeration compressors.

Since two out of three compressors was down and action urgently needed it was decided in close cooperation with owner to remove existing compressors and install the compressors type VMY.

Removing of old compressors and installation of new compressors including upgrading of the compressor controllers to new type was done in 14days period while vessel was heading from discharge port to next loading port.
